The Key Issues
Driving meaningful change for Mammoth Lakes by focusing on the values that define our community and its future.
Local Affordable Housing
01
Mammoth Lakes can’t function without the people who keep it running, and too many of them can’t afford to live here anymore. I’m pushing for real solutions: closing the loopholes that let big development skip building workforce housing and making it genuinely easy for local homeowners to add housing of their own.
02
Bears + Wildlife Care
We used to have a dedicated expert managing our relationship with local wildlife and it worked. Since then, bear-human conflict has only gotten more frequent. I want to bring back dedicated, on-the-ground wildlife expertise, paired with real accountability for trash and dumpster issues that cause most of these conflicts.
03
Supporting Local Business
I'll work to offer more support to our local businesses across our community. Whether that's helping to connect them with state/ federally funded grants and micro-loan opportunities as well as push to ensure local businesses have a real shot at large development bids. Let's create opportunity for the people who already call Mammoth home.
Fire Prevention
04
The fire risk in Mammoth isn’t hypothetical. Measure M gave the MLFPD real funding to help protect our town, but prevention only works when the Town, the fire district, and residents are all pulling in the same direction. That means providing homeowners with clear, accessible resources and supporting defensible space, fuel breaks, chipping programs, and continued investment in seasonal crews. Wildfire prevention doesn’t wait for budget cycles, and our prevention strategy shouldn’t either.
Conservation
05
Conservation is personal to me. I grew up in these mountains, and I've watched firsthand how much work it takes to keep them healthy. Trail crews clearing routes, volunteers pulling trash from our lakes, locals packing out what others leave behind. Protecting our backyard isn't just good policy, it's a responsibility we all share. As your Town Council representative, I'll keep pushing for real support for the people and programs doing this work. Because a clean, thriving Mammoth Lakes starts with taking care of what's already here.
06
Public Safety
As a Town Council Candidate,
I believe safety and trust go hand in hand. I’m meeting with the Mammoth Lakes Police Department, diving into what our officers need to keep the community safe, and looking for public feedback on tools like Flock cameras. I'm working towards supporting our police while protecting residents’ privacy. Your voice matters in shaping what comes next.
I believe in government that works like a household budget: spend wisely, know where every dollar goes, and don’t ask residents to carry more than their fair share. I’ll bring a local understanding of how the town operates and a commitment to common sense, transparency, and real accountability.
I work for you, and for our community. My approach to governance is open communication: The public leads, I am just here to carry it forward.
Practical Action
Next Generation Community Leader
This campaign is about bringing a new generation of leadership to Mammoth Lakes Town Council. Leadership grounded in real world experience and a genuine understanding of what it takes for locals to build a life here. We're fighting for work force housing, protecting our bears and public lands, supporting small business and making sure this community stays one that people can actually afford to call home. Local roots. Real World Experience. Ready to Serve.
